Coaching

The TNO offers personal coaching both as a stand alone part of personal talent development or as a direct compliment to other TNO learning activities. We deliver coaching activities in the following ways:

  • Personal Face to Face Coaching - our predominant means of engaging with talented people to help them further develop their capabilities. We normally recommend a minimum of three, one hour coaching sessions to start an effective coaching process. Often such a sequence of activities is offered as a direct follow up to a TNO learning event prior to the coaching role being assumed by the individual’s direct manager
  • Telephone Coaching - increasingly used to compliment face to face coaching or occasionally as a direct means of coaching intervention for those in remote locations. Telephone coaching has the advantage of being highly flexible and can often be used to give just in-time support and guidance to individuals immediately prior to important events or activities.
  • On-Line Coaching Support - as a compliment to face to face & telephone coaching we also offer an online coaching service using technologies such as Blackberry Messenger and SMS texts to provide coaching prompts and specific hints and tips.
  • Team Coaching - as a further compliment to our team development work, we offer a dedicated opportunity for teams to participate in small group coaching activities as pat of sustaining the improvement in team performance.
  • Line Manager as Coach - to ensure that coaching is an ongoing feature of the line management process within an organisation, we work with small groups of business leaders to progressively build their capability to continuously coach their people to higher levels of personal performance.
